| Although
groups are therapeutic by nature, ours are NOT therapy, and should not
be considered as such |
If
you feel suicidal or are experiencing a crises beyond the supportive nature
of these groups, please contact a 24-hour Crises Hotline, usually found
in the front of most telephone books. You can also type in Suicide Hotline
in your browser’s search field; or contact your local police or
public emergency line (9-1-1 in the U.S.)
|
All our groups
are free, however if you feel you would like or need more
personal attention than you can get in a one hour telephone support group,
therapists on our site are available on a fee-for-service basis. If you
would like to meet with a therapist or attend a support group in-person
in or near your own community, please visit our site’s Counseling
and Support Group Resource section. |
