ALL SUPPORT GROUPS ARE ONE HOUR LONG

Although groups are therapeutic by nature, ours are NOT therapy, and should not be considered as such

If you feel suicidal or are experiencing a crises beyond the supportive nature of these groups, please contact a 24-hour Crises Hotline, usually found in the front of most telephone books. You can also type in Suicide Hotline in your browser’s search field; or contact your local police or public emergency line (9-1-1 in the U.S.)

All our groups are free, however if you feel you would like or need more personal attention than you can get in a one hour telephone support group, therapists on our site are available on a fee-for-service basis. If you would like to meet with a therapist or attend a support group in-person in or near your own community, please visit our site’s Counseling and Support Group Resource section.

 Anger Management

Do you want to find solutions to your rage? Our psychotherapist facilitator has been where you may be now. He had been fired, divorced and depressed and once lived a long history of rage problems which set him on many paths looking for solutions. He pounded pillows for years and meditated daily for over a decade Ė to no avail. He expressed himself and lived by Anger, Blame and Criticism. These ABCs could not support him or his relationships. Since 1994 he has been happily married and life is good. He is committed to bringing a message of hope to those who are angry, helping them: learn to Abstain, Believe and Communicate. These are the true ABCs of anger resolution, for life! Weíre here to support you as you make changes to create a happy, healthy life for yourself.

 Menís Grief

It comes in a different wrapper, oftentimes an air-tight wrapper. Venting may seem to fan emotional fires within a man, but it also helps burn up the fuel. Men who may not be used to this kind of sharing can pool their grief anonymously, gradually if they like. Itís a manís way to attack the suffering within.
